Delicious re-evaluation

In spite of all that I said in an earlier post, I am really excited about the new Cultural Diversity links that have just been uploaded to CPL's Best Websites.

The Cultural Diversity tag bundle is subdivided into two sub-categories: diversity and multicultural. The multicultural links are local in scope, giving information on various cultures in Calgary, Alberta, and Canada. While the diversity subject area generally includes links to web sites that give general country information, it also includes some local multicultural links.

One local link that is particularly good is the City of Calgary's Cross Cultural Connections directory. Only available online, it is full of contact information for local organizations, festivals (my favorite), and services.

The BBC News - Country Profiles which gives historical and up to date news, is great for snippets of information for various countries (with photos!). The Timeline link is particularly interesting for historical news pieces.
